Bad Newz is a 2024 Indian Hindi-language comedy film directed by Anand Tiwari. Produced by Amazon Prime, Dharma Productions and Leo Media Collective, the film, inspired by true events, features Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk.The film is a spiritual sequel to Good Newwz (2019), and revolves around heteropaternal superfecundation, a reproductive process in which twin children are born to the same mother, but from different biological fathers.
A young woman Saloni Bagga gets pregnant after having one-night stands with two different men, Akhil Chadha and Gurbir Pannu. All hell breaks loose when Saloni is informed by her doctor that she is pregnant with twins and that hers' is a rare case of heteropaternal superfecundation, in which two different eggs are fertilized in the ovary of a woman with sperm from two different men, causing Saloni to die. This leads to comic one-upmanship between Akhil and Gurbir as the two men try to bring her back alive.
